Clinical Assistant with background in Social Care and Counselling Services
Hi my name is Sharon and as my Husband often comments, “his better half”. I work within the Social Services sector but when I’m not there, I help to assist our Podiatrist (the other half 😉 in the clinic.)
My role is mainly to support and assist with minor surgery procedures and help to keep the clinic clean and organised and check that stock levels are maintained and up to date.
When I have free time in the evening, I enjoy relaxing with a glass of Wine watching some of my favourite TV Crime dramas.
I enjoy having a chat with our patients and getting to know them a little bit. I think this adds to the personal touch which keeps our clinic a warm, welcoming and friendly clinic to come into.
I also love looking at all the latest faff on Tic Tok to see what the latest fashion craze is and look at what the bargains I can find.
Like John, I enjoy traveling as well as being creative with interior design ideas around the house. I love making interior design come to fruition.
I look forward to welcoming you all to the clinic in due course.

As a keen walker/hiker/munro bagger I thought I best look after them! John was brilliant, very welcoming and friendly. He explained the process throughout and provided great advice. I felt like I was walking on air when I left. Will definitely be back 😁😁 Thank you! LizPosted on Google Elizabeth McCallionTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Phoned earlier and got appointment at short notice which was very accomodating. Find it hard cutting my toenails so great to get them cut properly and my corn removed. Good service with a smile!Posted on Google Fiona StewartTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Recently went to 1st foot podiatry with an ingrown toenail for nail surgery. I was apprehensive, but John put me at ease straight away and explained the procedure thoroughly. It’s safe to say the procedure was painless and I wish I’d gone sooner! He is a professional and also a really nice guy and I’d highly recommend this clinic to anyone. I arrived at first foot podiatry almost unable to walk on my right foot, by the time I left I wad almost pain free! I had two corns one was removed, the other i had cure-a-corn treatment for. I'd 100% recomend First Foot Podiatry and I'll be back should I need any further foot care.Posted on Google Robin DoullTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend this service Thoughtful and professional through out appointment at home, all questions answered without hesitation very happy with suggestions on how to manage symptoms of PF and other areas this is affecting myself. Will definitely use this service again. I just wanted to add an update to my last review. I had severe PF for over 2years the pain at times was so severe that walking caused severe anxiety and stress, I took holidays from work not to relax but to get off my feet, I saw John and he told me about bio lab insoles, he examined my feet and scanned them and within a couple of weeks my insoles where here and fitted by John, relief was not immediately but in the course of 6 weeks I noticed I was getting some reduction in the severest of pain, I am now 6 months of using the insoles I am pain free after all the money I spent on special shoes, advice from pharmacy on insoles again a small fortune on these, steroid injections, plantar devices. Over the course of two and a half years I never thought I would enjoy going out for walks, enjoying my holidays again and not being afraid to put my feet into nice shoes. I would thoroughly recommend seeing 1st podiatry before you buy or consult anyone else if you are suffering with PF I cannot thank John enough even after care is just amazing.Posted on Google Sarah BurnsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. John is friendly and knowledgeable, he offered me advice and a solution for a couple of different issues with my feet. He explained the issues in an easy to understand way and I was very happy with the service. Reasonably priced also. I'll definitely go back to John from now on.Posted on Google Run DMc
